Thaddeus splashing fun

Brought Ted for a swimming trial at Harbour Front on Thursday....That's daddy off day...Had heard about this kind of infant swimming program early this year...But was reluctant to bring Ted to try when he's younger....However, saw one of our forum mummy, posted up how her daughter enjoyed the swim recently....Gave me an urge to let Ted takes up this new hobby...

It is said that early swimming will develop baby's brain because the brain grows by use....An ideal way to develop not only a stronger body, but a better brain when baby move in the water...Other benefits include family bonding, when parents or siblings were there to encourage baby, building self-esteem, while stimulating muscle development and brain activity.....All in all, a fun way to explore and learn...

Initially, Ted was too stunned to splash, he was just floating freely and lifts up his legs occasionally....He rested for a while after milk and continued the second time, that he started to splash with his hands and was kicking happily...Its really a good form of exercise to promote blood circulation and brain function...

Daddy was convinced by the happy look of his son, to get the portable pool that we can use at home everyday.....Wanting to try it out soon, but Ted nose is runny due to teething...... probably, will have to wait till later...Lets hope that mummy can make it a point to train Ted in this surviving skill daily.....You may now be looking at the earliest training of a future Olympic gold medalist, or probably the next Micheal Phelps!!!!! Wahahahaha *dreaming*

Teacher's Day

Mel putting a kiss with love on each card

Sexy lip

This one for Principal Patricia Lin

This is for teacher April Tan

This one for 李老师

And lastly this is for Teacher Melissa

Teachers Day is round the corner....And its time to shop for teacher's day presents...Its a last min thing for me as tomorrow will be the celebration day for Melody's school...These jewellery boxes caught my attention with their colorful designs, which I think is handpainted... I would prefer to get something useful this year, rather than those decorative stuff, like flowers...

Yet, those boxes look a bit empty to me...And I am not good in wrapping presents (Yes they come with a box)....OK, CALL ME LAZY!!! Or just plain excuse to get those cute little Teddy bear that I so reluctant to loose my grip on....Obviously, its save me so much time to wrap them....Chinese call this "one stone kills two birds" Wahahahaha.....I just have to place these cutie little Teddy bear inside the jewellery box and "TAI DAN" ready to present with love!!!

Nat's teacher's day rose

As for Nat, she managed to get hers from her school book shop and had presented to her teachers today....Left an extra one that she bought home, which she intend to give to her CCA skipping rope teacher.... Well I should be glad that she's able to do it herself to safe me time too!!....Dun call me lazy again hor!!!! I want her to be indepandent!!! She's in fact a big girl already....Will ask her to update this on her blog soon.....

My precious pair

Times flies...Ted is already 6 months and 2 weeks old..He had start eating different variety of food..Brown rice, spinach, carrots, pork, apple, just to name a few...He's always looking forward to his meal time...Will start throwing tantrum if we were slow in feeding him, especially when the porridge are still hot from the pot...I like to serve him warm porridge that's why I like to keep them in the pot, rather than scooping all out into the bowl to cool... Thus it takes some time to cool down when I refill...At such, my precious little brat will start screaming for his feed!!!!

Its become a tremendous task for me and my maid during Ted's meal time...On contrary, I felt contented that he's not rejecting any new food thou....

The pong pong girls and boy

Prize giving

Singing along with the Singapore flag

The green team

Its Melody's school sports day on the 7th of August...They celebrated National Day on that day too... The ceremony was kick starts with K1 pong pong girls and boys, which is Mel's level....The music and the dance was so lively, that it's lift all spirits instantly...Mel was in the green team. The event that they participated in, was to balance a ping pong ball with a spoon and run towards the finishing point and drop the ball in a pail....We have a team that's so agile, and needless to say, they won the first prize!!! After the prize giving, we sing along in a few National day celebration songs, which marks an end for the day.....

Mummy's new look

See what my Natalie did to me when I was doing my mask!!!! She still managed to give me a face lift by editing with my handphone....*speechless*

Cheeky Ted

Took this while at in laws house...Look at his mischievous face!!!

Twinkle twinkle little stars

Ted will coo along with this tune 'Twinkle little star'.....Tested and tried by gu gu....Janet tried other Nursery tune, but only with this Ted coo along...Guess this could be his favourite song....Whenever I sing this to him I will use hand gesture to show how stars twinkle...He starts to follow when I sing to him again today....He was so cute that I have to record down in video and blog this....He always likes to look at how the fingers move around and now he learned how to move them along with the song!!!

Natalie's first blog

when Natalie was younger, she love to make up short story and scribble them down on self made booklet...Or just scribble silly sentences in her note book...I might have got the inspiration from her to start doing up a blog...And now she's ready for her first every blog...Of course I will scan thru what she write before letting her post... I had put up a link to her blog here, do check it out..
