Plagued by virus

Its has been raining for the past few weeks....When the weather changed, our body changed in a way to adapt...That's when we are prone to get sick if our body fails to adapt...

After Ted's running nose, which I thought he might be teething initially, but was confirmed false alarm... And followed by Mel was down with ulcers in her throat and mouth...She started to have fever on Wednesday night which hit 40 degrees with a painful throat...The doc warned me that it might be a virus attack similar to hfmd and the fever will sure reached it maximum at night...And there goes my sleepless nights...I was caught off guard, as to where she might have caught that bug, since the only place we went during the holidays was the cinema, which is on the very day of her symptom starts...And that does not match the incubation periods of this virus... The school have not given out any notice for outbreak of hfmd cases as well...So I brushed it off as heaty and blame on the bad weather....When I found out that the ulcers spreads to below her tongue and lips that I am convinced that she caught the bug from somewhere...But where? The school maybe, or her ballet class on Sunday, or could it be the cinema? But the symptoms appears so fast on that very night? Really puzzled...

Now I most worry that she might pass it to Ted...Natalie can cope better as she had passed that age group...However Ted is still too young to be risked with this kind of virus....I had taken all measures to prevent the spread among them...But there's no sure way, when they are all staying in one roof..

And poor Mel have felt so abandon when I rejected her request to kiss and get close to Ted...She is kind of being isolated to her room with a painful throat and burning forehead!! Although I gave her all the attention she wants, but she is still lacking the touch from her beloved baby brother....I can sensed that she is a little bit jealous about us so protecting Ted. The fact that she is having a virus which made her so unwelcome to everyone, had truly affected her physically as well as emotionally...

The best I can do now is to pray hard that she recovers well and soon...And cross infection will be well resolve...
